The Women in My Life - This series of photgraphs is the product of Kirstin's last semester at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. Having studied studio, architectural, digital and experimental photography as well as portraiture, in the spring of 2005 Kirstin created her senior thesis inspired by the early self-portraits of Cindy Sherman.
A Gaelic Tale - In early winter of 2004, Kirstin traveled to Ireland, beginning her journey in Shannon, continuing to The Aran Islands, Donegal, Belfast and Dublin. True to word it rained every day. Ireland is as rich in history and folklore as it is in physical beauty, the Irish people adding to the magical experience.
Chronicles Of Origin - These photographs are taken at the home of a very close friend of Kirstin's. She has been nothing but supportive from the time Kirstin first picked up a camera continuing to present day, her vision being the perfect source of inspiration. These photgraphs span from the summer of 1998 to the summer of 2009. There is beauty in your backyard, you only have to open your eyes.
My People - various photographs of people who have been extremely influential and supportive of my photography.
Matrimony - Kirstin has been assisting in weddings for nine years, starting at a local photo studio in high school, then in college for Elizabeth Sullivan Photography in North Andover, MA. Her first solo wedding was the year after high school, and she has continued to shoot weddings for friends and family over the last seven years.
Portraits - Kirstin started taking portraits during high school. Friends and family lent their children and time, and have continued to be supportive ever since. Portraiture was the first photography course she attended at Endicott College, with studio, weddings and events to follow.
